Hummus dip and veggies snack

There's always that awkward time between breakfast and lunch when it's way too early to have lunch and too late to have breakfast, but your body is asking for food and it wants it now! I usually opt for a snack of veggies and hummus when I've already had my share of fruits and nuts for breakfast and I'm craving something savory and still healthy.

Hummus dip

This tray of snacks is pretty basic and is extremely easy to prep. Just wash and chop your favorite veggies and prep your hummus. I like to keep my hummus garlic-free and extremely simple. For the hummus:

All you need is:

- 1 can of hummus, washed and drained well

- 1/2 lemon (add more/ less as you like)

- 1/2 tsp salt (add more/ less as you like)

- 1 tbsp tahini

- Optional: 1/2 tbsp non-fat plain yoghurt (to make it smoother and more dip-friendly)

Just blend all these ingredients together, super easy!
