Date-banana-almond smoothie

If I were stuck on an island somewhere and had to choose one smoothie to have every single day of my life - I think this one may just be in my top 3 choices. That's how good it is! This smoothie is full of natural protein from almond butter, good carbs and sugars and is perfect to have post workout or even for suhoor.

Date banana smoothie

Simply blend:


- 1 tsp organic almond butter

- 1/2 frozen banana

- 2 dates

- 1/4 cup oats

- 1/2 cup almond coconut milk blend

- handful of ice


You can drizzle some almond butter on the side of your cup or mason jar to get the pretty look and that's all!


Note: you may choose to add a scoop of protein, but I chose to skip it to keep it light since you get a good amount of protein from almond butter on its own.
