Banana n flax + Avo n pom

Bananas and avocado on toast don't necessarily have to mean carb-overload when you control your portions. It's all about mini protein bread and limiting yourself to the right amount of avocado and bananas.

The most important thing is to listen to your body. Personally, I find the best amount of avocado to have in the morning is 1/4 - any more would make me feel too full - and not in a very good way - especially if I'm eating it on toast. As for bananas, if you're having them on bread, 1/2 a banana would suffice. You can always chop and freeze the remaining for a smoothie.

These toasts are perfect for an energetic morning or even to have for Suhoor during Ramadan: 1/2 a banana, almond butter on protein bread and 1/4 avocado with pomegranate seeds also on protein bread. YUM!
