Fruits, veggies & nuts on rye

These are all the nutritional stuff you need to kickstart your day! I love crisp rye bread - not only is it tasty but it's also full of fiber, super light, and you can get really creative with the toppings.


These are perfect to serve when having people over for brunch or breakfast or even an afternoon pick-me-up.


I used labneh as the base, but you can also choose any nut butter for the fruits, and you can choose yoghurt, cheese, or za'atar (thyme) for the veggie toppings. You can get really creative with the toppings, for these, I chose:


- Blackberries and hazelnuts

- Strawberries and flaxseeds

- Cucumbers and radish

- Raspberries and walnuts

- Cherry tomatoes and mint leaves

- Blueberries, dried cranberries and chia seeds

- Yellow bell pepper

- Black olives and mint leaves
