Chocolate orange overnight oats

Four things you need to always remind yourself of before life takes over: 1) gratitude, 2) positivity, 3) humility, and last but not least 4) it's NEVER too early for a chocolate fix!

Grateful for these chocolate orange zest overnight oats and chia, feeling positive about my day ahead, and humbled by this breakfast of chocolate champions!

Chocolate orange overnight oats

The combination of orange and chocolate is unreal, it's always been one of my favorites! Ever since I was a kid, my favorite chocolate was Terry's chocolate orange. That is until my brain took over and started telling my heart that this chocolate is full of sugar and unnecessary calories! Boo!

This breakfast truly makes up for it. If you haven't tried it yet, you are truly missing out!

Here's how you can make these overnight oats that will save you the hassle of making breakfast in the morning on a busy day.


- 1/2 cup of oat flakes

- 1 tbsp of chia seeds

- 1 tsp of fresh orange zest (wash and grate your orange peel)

- 3/4 cup of almond milk

- 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice

- 1 tsp cocoa powder

Place in a bowl in the fridge overnight, and top up with orange slices in the morning!

So perfectly refreshing and totally hits the spot! Don't you think?
