Pomegranate pear & walnut smoothie

When your smoothie is too pretty to drink...


You eat it with a spoon. It's going to have to happen - it's too delicious to be just looked at!


Fall flavors are my favorite. Apart from the obvious pumpkin, there are tons of other autumn fruits and vegetables to get creative with. Two of my favorite are pomegranate and pears. This smoothie combines both and tops them off with some crushed walnuts! So incredibly satisfying!

To make the smoothie for one,


You will need:


- 1 frozen banana

- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds, and a little extra for the topping

- 2 tbsp oats

- 1/2 cup almond milk

- 1 pear


For the pomegranate: blend 1/2 a frozen banana with 1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds, 1tbsp oats, and 1/4 cup almond milk. Set aside.


For the pear: blend 1/2 a frozen banana with 1 pear, 1 tbsp oats and 1/4 cup almond milk.


Pour the smoothie in a glass alternating between pear and pomegranate. Top off with pomegranate seeds and some crushed walnuts.
