Almond butter porridge + pom

If I were ever stuck on an island for no apparent reason, all by myself, I'd be content if I had pomelo and pomegranate trees all around me.

Yeah, that'll do. Those fruits are absolutely satisfying and thirst quenching!

This almond butter cinnamon porridge is so easy, quick, and delicious. Top it off with pomelo and pomegranate and you've got a perfect balance of nutty + thirst quenching.

Here's how.

For one:

- 2/3 cup oats (I prefer the thin flakey and organic type)

- 3/4 cup almond milk

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tsp almond butter

- Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup

Place those ingredients in a small pot on low to medium heat, keep stirring until you reach the desired thickness. Pour in a bowl and top off with pomelo, pomegranate seeds and hazelnuts.
