Edible flowers on toast

When I first saw the edible flowers trend popping up I thought to myself "but why eat flowers??" I admit it is a strange feeling, and a strange taste too. There's no other way to explain it other than, flowers taste like..... flowers!

Edible flowers add a nice texture and give a beautiful presentation to any dish. There's also a subtle sweet rosey taste that adds a nice flavor, especially with these combinations!

1. Sliced peaches and raspberries on peanut butter

2. Salted avocado and blueberries
