Behold the most satisfying donut ever! It tastes like a breakfast muffin, smells like banana bread, feels like heaven - it must be a banana bread almond butter chocolate chip donut! Mmmm *insert Homer Simpson drool face here*

So you came for the recipe, let's get right to it. Here's how you can make 8-10 of these delicious donuts.

What you'll need:

Dry ingredients:

1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1.5 tsp baking powder

Wet ingredients:

3 small ripe bananas

1/4 cup coconut oil

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp almond butter (or nut butter of choice)

1 egg

Extra:

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Steps:

1- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C and lightly brush your donut tray with coconut oil

2- Mix the wet ingredients together in a medium bowl. Pro-tip: if you have a nutribullet or a strong blender, blend the wet ingredients for about 30 seconds or until well incorporated

3- Mix the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl

4- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine well

5- Add the chocolate chips in and mix

6- Use a teaspoon (or, pro tip: piping bag) to pour the mix into the donut crevices

7- Bake for 12-15 minutes and let them cool down for 10 minutes

Lastly, devour!
