Dark chocolate fudge brownies

When the chocolate craving kicks in, no dessert hits the spot quite like brownies do.

Crisp on the outside.

Fudgy on the inside.

Melt in your mouth.

Filled with crunchy walnuts.

That's exactly what these super easy one-bowl dark chocolate fudge brownies are all about.

These brownies will take 10 minutes to prep, and 25 minutes to bake. No crazy ingredients in there either, you're bound to have them in your kitchen.

Dark chocolate fudge brownies

Here's how...

What you need

Dry ingredients:

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp crushed sea salt

Wet ingredients:

200 grams dark chocolate of choice (I used Lindt 70% dark chocolate for cooking)

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 eggs, room temperature

1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional: 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (note: I did not add any and they came out really good, but I like unsweetened chocolate. Some people may like to add some more sweetness)

4-5 tbsp of almond milk (or milk of choice)

Final ingredients:

1/4 cup crushed walnuts

1- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees c and lightly brush a square mold with coconut oil

2- Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl

3- Melt the dark chocolate: to do this, heat up water in a pot and place a plate on top with the dark chocolate squares in. Keep stirring until the chocolate is melted

4- Once the chocolate is melted, remove from the heat, add the coconut oil, vanilla extract, then the optional honey or maple syrup. Finally add the eggs in and stir continuously until well incorporated

5- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix. Your brownie dough should turn out thick, this is when you add some almond milk (or any choice of milk) - 4-5 tbsp should be enough

6- Fold in the crushed walnuts and spread the mix into the square mold

7- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes

8- Let it cool down for 10 minutes then enjoy!

See? Super easy!

Ps. The expression should be changed to easy as brownie. Pies are A LOT more difficult than this!
